Summary/Abstract: This theoretical study aims to present the theory of community of practice, which will be interesting regarding to teachers’ professional learning communities. We start from the largest interpretations of community and end with those theoretical frameworks where the concept of community of practice and the process of professional learning in communities of practices can be interpreted.
