Summary/Abstract: The past several years have marked one of the most tense periods since the Cold War for our generation. Russia's illegal and unjustified invasion of Ukraine, coupled with the humanitarian crisis in the Middle East and escalating tensions in the South Caucasus and Indo-Pacific regions, has fundamentally altered the global security landscape. Authoritarian regimes have systematically attempted to dismantle the rules-based international order, wielding their diplomatic, political, and economic leverage to influence, threaten, and pressure countries worldwide, including Lithuania. As the authoritarian cooperation has intensified, previously isolated conflicts have merged into what effectively constitutes a unified global theatre of war.
