Summary/Abstract: The increasing propagation of artificial intelligence systems in all areas of life requires awareness of and controlling the associated risks. Little known in society is the fact that the algorithms used in them are probabilistic in nature and can produce different final results for the same input data. Therefore, allowing artificial intelligence to make or influence decisions, without deep management of the risk due to indeterminism, could lead to negative and even dangerous results. The present review is dedicated to the nature of indeterminism in artificial intelligence and the ways to control it. The crucial role of human intellect, emotional intelligence and ethics and is emphasized.
