Summary/Abstract: One of the first authors that manifested their intention of pursuing a monographic approach of Panait Istrati’s work and biography, in 1925, at only two years after the debut of Kyra Kyralina’s author, was S. Semilian, journalist of Braila. He published two serials in the journals of the time (Panait Istrati, his life and works and Panait Istrati, the man). The two texts remained unknown till now despite their documentary importance. Their reinsertion into the public circuit has a significant role in completing Panait Istrati’s biography.
