Summary/Abstract: Some time ago, the documentary fund of the Historical Monuments Commission was digitized. From this huge documentary treasure, some documents related to the Church of the Holy Archangels Michael and Gabriel in Braila attracted our attention. It is about the famous Questionnaire regarding historical monuments, followed by several subsequent pieces of correspondence - some of which complete part of the answers -, interesting here being the dialogue with the Minister of Cults and Arts on the subject of the restoration of the place of worship, an initiative for the completion of which is being drawn up and an estimate of works accompanied by expenses.
