Summary/Abstract: It would be hardly possible to tell any at all serious story about Croatian literature at the beginning of 21st century without a chapter on FAK. On the other hand, it would be hardly possible for any of these chapters to have the same tone, to put emphasis on the same places, to come up with even remotely similar explanations why in a matter of only a couple of years of its existence one literary festival turned into an (extra) literary phenomenon that in many ways marked one literature, and perhaps, to a certain point at least, one culture.
