Summary/Abstract: The conference presentation is oriented to a description of the possibilities of multimedia used in educational software oriented mostly to the training field for textile students and employees. The methods utilizes successfully the benefits of computer-aided training and provides students with the following working tools: animation and video sequence of loop formation with fully fashioned knitting machine doted with spring bearded needles, interactive animation to describe spring bearded needles and the electronic assessment tests. The drawings were made with Corel Draw graphics application and the animations and the interactivity were made with Corel RAVE application. The program resulted is portable and it may be used online or offline on any computer system.
