Summary/Abstract: Over the last two decades, in the Romanian educational system there has been an explosion of distance learning opportunities but, unfortunately, the course designers competency didn’t improve. In distance education, the teacher and the group learners are geographically separated, nonetheless, the teacher is not absent. Their work for preparing the course is more difficult as compared to the work of the teachers in the traditional classroom. The purpose of our study is to evaluate the courses’ quality in distance education and to reveal common patterns of errors and skills. For data collection, we have used a sheet comprising three criteria categories. Two experts have evaluated each course. For data collection analysis, we have made a qualitative and quantitative analysis, taking into consideration the more variables. This study is essential to the institution’s success and the students’ learning satisfaction. Nevertheless, the experts’ subjectivity could influence the accuracy of the interpretative approach.
