Summary/Abstract: An important issue from the perspective of functioning in the labor market, however,rarely subjected to scientific exploration, is the attractiveness of an employee, i.e. a subjectivefeeling that is the result of the interaction of many factors, formed, among others, based on workexperience, as well as educational experiences. Considering the importance of self-assessmentof professional attractiveness, including the determinants of assessment and its consequences,the purpose of the conducted research was to identify the level of professional attractiveness ofstudents and to search for relationships between professional attractiveness and independentvariables, as well as between professional attractiveness and the choice of future employers,students’ expectations of future employers and financial expectations. The questionnairesurvey was conducted on 336 civilian students of the War Studies University. As a result of theconducted research, the results of the students’ self-assessment of professional attractivenesswere revealed, and the existence of statistical relationships between selected variables analyzedwas indicated, which allowed us to understand the determinants and consequences of students’self-assessment of professional attractiveness.
