Summary/Abstract: The aleatory contracts are those contracts upon onerous title in which, in contrast to the commutative contracts, the existence and limits of an obligation for one party or for both is not known at the moment of the contract conclusion, whose effects depend on a future and uncertain event, the uncertainty being referred to the event existence itself or only to the moment of its completion.
