Summary/Abstract: The article presents the contradictions in the Armenian community in Bulgaria regarding pluralism on religious issues in the diaspora regarding the views of the laity, preservation of churches, schools and building stock, acquired through donations from local patriotic Armenians, without direct heirs, that arose in the last six years. Includes an overview of the creation of the spiritual abode, which is the basis of strong faith, preservation of religion and traditions in historical, political, social and cultural aspects. Traces the influence of clergy in the everyday life of the Armenian community to enrich spiritual culture, solve social problems, provide moral support over the decades. Explores the relationship with the current period, when the General See of Saint Etchmiadzin, represented by Karekin II – Catholicos of All Armenians, supreme head of the Armenian Apostolic Church, through the adoption of the new Statute of the Diocese seeks to impose its views on serving the church in order to become a dominant body of influence, neglecting the secular duties and dedication of the laity, which led to differences in worldview and divions in the community. The article presents the contradictions in the Armenian community in Bulgaria regarding pluralism on religious issues in the 192 diaspora regarding the views of the laity, preservation of churches, schools and building stock, acquired through donations from local patriotic Armenians, without direct heirs, that arose in the last six years.
