Summary/Abstract: With limited terms of study, shortage of student’s time for independent lessons, the teacher of the general piano course faces a serious problem of fully training a professional musician who is proficient in this instrument. This imposes the necessity of identifying a special teaching methodology that will help each adult student to acquire the maximum possible skills andabilities of playing the piano, that are sufficient for professional activity. The purpose of this article is to express some general considerations regarding practical methods of musical development of students in the category of ‘early adulthood’, commensurate with the peculiarities of their thinking.
