Summary/Abstract: The understanding that traditional folk culture is an inexhaustible source of creative ideas is not, in itself, a sufficient reason to repeatedly draw from the same sources. Recognizing that the global network, along with our virtually unlimited opportunities for creative exchange through it, provides us with the rare chance to transcend the boundaries of regional cultural traditions. We now have access to the entirety of humanity's traditional cultural heritage. In this context, the article explores, analyzes, and synthesizes shared cultural legacies and traditions in the field of puppet theatre. It also presents a model for enhancing specialized theatre education by offering a modern interpretation of the untapped potential inherent in the traditional cultures of various nations.
