Summary/Abstract: In late November 2023, a trinational workshop at Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem brought together over 30 students from Czechia, Germany, and Poland to explore the works of Jaroslav Rudiš. The event featured discussions on three of Rudiš's notable works: the graphic novel "Alois Nebel," the novel "Winterbergs letzte Reise," and the drama "Anschluss." Participants engaged in film screenings, readings, and interactive presentations, highlighting themes of Central European history, multilingualism, and cultural intersections. The workshop emphasized the significance of borders and the shared history of the Sudetenland, fostering a vibrant exchange of ideas across languages and disciplines. The diverse program showcased the multifaceted nature of Rudiš's literary contributions and the power of literature to connect people.
