Summary/Abstract: The article describes the creativity of Azerbaijani poets who entered the literary scene in the 80s of the 20th century and their main theme in the years of independence. Abuzar Bagirov (Abuzar Turan), a representative of this literary generation, is mentioned in the scientific and translation activities in Moscow. Abuzar Turan, who lives in Moscow and plays an important role in the scientific and literary relations between Azerbaijan and Russia, has achieved great success in this field. Abuzar Turan translated poems of Russian poets into Azerbaijani language and regularly published them in Azerbaijani media. Abuzar Bagirov, currently a professor at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations, is also the chairman of the Moscow branch of the Azerbaijan Writers Union. He also takes an active part in the publication of the works of Azerbaijani writers living here in Russian and their dissemination in the Russian literary environment. In addition, the writer has always been the center of attention with his artistic creativity. Then, the article provides detailed information about the long poem “Song of Victory”, which occupies a central place in the poet's creativity, and analyzes this work in detail. It was noted that one of the main topics of the years of independence was the First and Second Karabakh wars and the events that took place during these wars. Like all the authors, Abuzar Turan also touched upon this topic and wrote a very readable and interesting long poem and brought it to our literature. In other words, in the work, the Azerbaijani army that won the Second Karabakh War, its supreme command, the Great Victory are widely described and glorified. A highly artistic image of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev was created. The people of Azerbaijan, Turkey and its president, Pakistan and its leader were also praised for the power and might of the artistic word. The poem “Holy Triumphant Trinity” is dedicated to this friendship and brotherhood. This work, reflecting real life events, is richer and fuller from the artistic point of view.
