Summary/Abstract: One of the important issues in religions is undoubtedly the subject of atonement. Human beings have the tendency to make mistakes and sin. The sins and mistakes made disturb people and they tend to get rid of this situation. In order to correct this situation, people turn to the subject of atonement in religions. For this reason, the subject of atonement in religions is of great importance to those who believe in religion. This article focuses on atonement in religions, purification rituals and the ways these atonements are implemented.
