Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the significant problems of the Polish electoral law based on reports from the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights election assessment missions. The selection of problems was based on the criterion of their impact on key institutions and electoral law principles. As a result, the article describes the problematic issues related to the method of amending electoral regulations, the personnel of the National Electoral Commission, and the procedures for voting and counting votes. The analysis of the reports, jurisprudence, relevant literature, current and previous regulations allowed to present the problems, their essence, and potential suggestions for legal reform.
