Summary/Abstract: It has been observed in the specialized literature, based on empirical research, that sometimes the victims experience a double victimization: one from the aggressor (primary victimization), the second one comes from the representatives of public authorities with whom they come into contact (victimization secondary). Various ways of preventing both forms of victimization have been proposed, but I will insist on one of them that refers to the prevention of secondary victimization by implementing the Mendez principles.
