Summary/Abstract: Cardinal August Hlond’s post-war activities, under special privileges from the Holy See, led to the establishment of church structures. Over time, his temporary arrangements were reflected in permanent structures. The Diocese of Koszalin-Kolobrzeg (Kołobrzeg), erected in 1972, was created from part of the recovered lands, an aftermath of the decisions made by Cardinal Hlond. This article contains descriptions of the cardinal’s meetings with the faithful in towns within the boundaries of this diocese, which took place in October 1947.The article includes descriptions of meetings in: Sianow (Sianów), Miastko, Szczecinek, Okonek, Jastrowie, Pila (Piła), Zlotow (Złotów) and Zakrzewo.
