Summary/Abstract: The text of the study aims to present the results of a content analysis of selected Czech high school and elementary school history textbooks, with the goal of reflecting their focus on the history of interwar daily life in Czechoslovakia. Based on the established data analysis and theoretical framework, the study proposes specific methods for history teachers. These methods aim to introduce new ways of presenting the history of everyday life during the First Republic in teaching, in conjunction with audiovisual didactic media. This includes a selection of Czech films and TV series from 1945 to the present, as well as period and Protectorate‑era films. The presented audiovisual material aims to expand on topics related to the history of Czech interwar daily life that are mentioned in the analyzed history textbooks but are not specified in detail.
