Summary/Abstract: This paper intends to be a synthetic description of Strategic Foresight Analysis as a concept and why it became more and more important for companies, organizations, nations and alliances like NATO to use this tool for shaping their strategy on medium and long term. Finally, this paper brings to reader`s attention the main drivers of change, potential strategic shocks and the key challenges to the effective use of Military Instrument of Power as they were identified in the Strategic Foresight Analysis 2023 published by the Allied Command Transformation. Author’s creativity was limited by the objective approach to data presented.
