THE INTEGRATION OF INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS INTO BELARUSIAN DOMESTIC LAW IN THE FIELD OF CRIMINAL PROCEDURE. THE EXAMPLE OF EXTRADITION

Summary/Abstract: In this study, the author deals with the “international legal paradigm of criminal procedure” through the confrontation of the principles of international criminal law and internal constitutional orders, taking the example of the regulation of the extradition procedure in Belarus and its implementation. The author points out some of the flaws in this procedure, identifying solutions present in international law, while raising the issues of integrating international standards into Belarusian domestic law.
