Summary/Abstract: The author discusses the challenge to the parliamentary majority enjoyed by the “Law and Justice” party (PiS) in Poland and the cohabitation established by the legislative elections of 15 October 2023. This article aims to analyse, given the high rate of electoral participation, the elements which undermined the power of this party, in particular the dialogue between national and European jurisdictions, the confrontation with the European institutions and the attacks on the Rule of law.
