Summary/Abstract: This paper explores the joint efforts of the City Library of Subotica and the Catholic Society “Ivan Antunović” from Subotica in the digitization and preservation of cultural heritage. The cooperation between these two institutions is focused on the digitization of significant documents, books, photographs and other materials that illuminate the rich cultural and historical heritage of Vojvodina. Through this project, valuable artifacts are preserved from decay and their use for educational and research purposes is enabled. The digitization of cultural heritage is crucial for the preservation of historical and cultural resources, enabling their wider accessibility and long-term preservation.The digitization process involves careful selection of materials, the use of advanced scanning and archiving technology, and addressing the challenges of preserving digital records. The paper also emphasizes the importance of inter-institutional cooperation, which is crucial for the successful implementation of such projects.This initiative represents a model for similar projects, highlighting how the digitization of cultural heritage contributes to the preservation of community identity and history, while at the same time providing new opportunities for research and access to cultural resources. The cooperation between the City Library of Subotica and the Catholic Society “Ivan Antunović” shows how synergy between institutions can lead to significant results in the field of preservation and promotion of cultural heritage.
