Summary/Abstract: The archaeological research conducted at the Roman fort and settlement of Ilişua (Arcobadara/Arcobara) also led to the discovery of two items from the Migration Period. These include an iron fibula with a twisted bow that belongs to the Praga‑type fibulae series, dated to the second half of the 5th century AD, in the D2‑D3 phase. The same period also features a silver hairpin with a polyhedral head, measuring 14.3 cm in length, with close analogies found in the inventories of the Saint‑Denis necropolis. These discoveries from Ilişua belong to the last third of the 5th century AD and the beginning of the 6th century AD. Part of a series of clothing items with a wide diffusion area, these objects demonstrate the diversity of influences, likely indicating a mixture of human groups with diverse origins, known in the Someş Basin after the mid–5th century AD.
