Summary/Abstract: This article aims to identify common points between aspects of narrative therapy (especially the Tree of Life or the Forest of Life exercise) and those of the Forum Theatre methods conceived by Augusto Pinto Boal. Whether these common points relate to the performative image that the two domains – narrative and theatrical – put into practice, or to the key elements themselves (such as, for example, storytelling, dialogue, involvement, empathy or catharsis), the result of both is identical – the revelation of the self.
