Summary/Abstract: In today's society, technology plays an essential role in the lives of all, and learning environments are diverse. Teachers may carry out educational projects where such activities are considered unsuitable. The role of the port has changed a great deal over the past few decades. Now the port is more than just a place to unload and load the cargo. Currently, the port is a real engine of development for neighboring cities and regions and a place where children can find information from various fields, such as transport, geography, weather forecasting, and trade. Due to the diversity of school activities, the harbor can also play an educational role. Worldwide, many ports have been involved in different projects in partnership with schools and high schools. This research aims to highlight educational activities taking place at different ports across the world. Subsequent adaptation and application of similar activities in Romania continued. Currently, Romanian ports are not taking part in any educational projects. With diversified learning environments and benefits for children, participation in such projects may be an opportunity for ports and schools. Activities can include guided tours, educational materials, promotion of educational games, discussions, or experiments with children. To highlight the possibilities of applying these ideas, the port of Constanta, the largest in Romania, was taken as a case study. This port has a great potential for involvement in the educational environment, but so far has not carried out such activities.
