Summary/Abstract: Modern thinking in the field of music, educated in the categories of equal temperament, seems to be inclined to abandon as obsolete the ancient acoustic systems, representing the evolution of the concept of musical tuning. At the same time, instruments with an unfixed tuning offer a wealth of pitches that do not fit into equal temperament, but allow musicians to creatively express their ladotonal thinking. The organization of this wealth is related to the Pythagorean musical tuning and its knowledge does not lose its relevance.
