Summary/Abstract: Taking into account the changes in digital communication, as well as media reporting, and the fact that culture has never occupied a significant position in the media space, the question arises as to how, in such circumstances, media workers report on traditional culture, heritage and folklore, which had difficulties to reach the media space before. This paper analyzes the announcements of traditional media during 2022 with the aim of clarifying how traditional media report on the mentioned topics. The results showed that the media is interested in heritage topics, but the attention it receives is limited, and the coverage is mostly positive. The paper enables a clearer understanding of the media treatment of selected topics and opens up space for research into the possibility of creating greater media visibility of heritage.
