Summary/Abstract: This work offers, in a systematic form, a philosophical-anthropological reflection on the report entitled "Criminal justice "on a human scale". Vision of a penal and procedural system oriented towards man as an individual and as a social being”, held in Pavia in 1997 by Albin Eser. It concludes by showing how the fundamental features of restorative justice are present in it.
