Summary/Abstract: Professor Konrad Nowacki was an outstanding representative of the Wroclaw school of administrativists as well as environmental law. His very rich scientific output includes a wide range of comparative environmental law issues. This is particularly true for the comparative research in the field of environmental law in the Federal Republic of Germany and Austria. Therefore, in 2009, upon his initiative, the University of Wroclaw and the Technical University of Cottbus established the Polish-German Center for Public and Environmental Law. In addition, in 2015, Professor Konrad Nowacki received an honorary doctorate from the University of Cottbus.
