METHODS OF ASSESSING ENVIRONMENTAL PERSISTENCE

Summary/Abstract: This paper will examine methods for assessing the persistence or persistence of a chemicalin the atmosphere and water and sediment environment. All methods are used, as needed for simplecharacterization of chemical compounds found in the environment during their cycle. Consequentlythey cannot be considered as precise compounds to assess their life cycle. They will be considered as semi-quantitative compounds to estimate their relative duration.These methods will also serve as a basis for evaluating a wide range of parameters that describe durability in environment and impacts on it. The methodologies presented in this paper are only a small selection of groups contribution method used for these chemical properties. In order to determine the calculation more accurately method, we will try to show whether this work would be approximately good for carboxylic acids and dicarboxylic acids or this work would be good for alcohols and glycols, where the calcd method, the boiling point could be represented as a simple linear function.
