Petersburg historian E. M. Prilezhaev and his works on the history of Olonets region.

Summary/Abstract: The article provides biographical information about E. M. Prilezhaev, as well as the general historiographical review of his works. Special attention is given to researches on the history of Olonets region. In appendices is inserted a bibliography of the scientist’s works and the literature about him.
