It commences with a brief overview of the legal framework governing arbitration in Poland, followed by a review of the practice of the Polish state courts in post-arbitral cases. It then describes the most relevant Polish arbitral institutions. Next, it proceeds to examine the position of treaty-based arbitration in the Polish context. Each of these sections discusses the challenges and perspectives faced by arbitration in Poland.
