Summary/Abstract: Ever since Australians have heard Aboriginal voices, discourses surrounding the creationand perpetuation of indigeneity/Aboriginality/Pan-Aboriginality have continued todetermine Australia’s critical literary scene. One of the debates concerns Indigenouswriting defined as an independent literary entity as holding characteristics incomparableto attributes of the National Literature of Australia (NLA). This entity is AboriginalLiterature (AL), which aided by its accompanying indigeneous criticism, generates anation-like image of Australia’s First Nations, which is to manifest through indigeneousworks, their characters, motifs, language, and message strategies. The designator of AL, itscreators, protagonists, and readers is the conscious authorial profiling and developmentof the indigenous identity of the works closely associated with the philosophy of holism, the action of creators and subjects speaking out against negative stereotyping, and infavor of making indigenous values more real.
