Summary/Abstract: The main objective of the paper is to identify how public institutions in Romania, specifically the City Hall of Haţeg communicate online in order to build and consolidate identity, as well as to inform, connect, and interact with citizens. The study also tries to provide clues that can influence decisions regarding the improvement of electronic communication activities through the results of the questionnaire applied to citizens for which the interaction of communication with the electronic means of the city hall taken as a studio object in this paper is necessary.
