Summary/Abstract: This paper proposes an exposition of the application of the principle of proportionality in the jurisprudence of the Constitutional Court of Romania, highlighting the considerations related to this principle, expressed in its decisions. The study starts from the presentation of the theoretical elements regarding proportionality, the principle of proportionality in constitutional law and continues with aspects regarding the activity of the Constitutional Court and some decisions relevant for this topic.
