Summary/Abstract: What I intend to present to you and challenge you with is "What I Believe?", which, I believe, carries a certain ambiguity. Such a title might first bring to mind the famous work of J. Dewey, "My Pedagogic Creed", where the great philosopher and educator concisely expresses his views on the main issues of pedagogy, schooling, and ultimately, our destiny. I do not intend to undertake such a task, although, of course, both I and you—together—hold a creed, a pedagogical project in whose name we work and even exist. My ambition is, therefore, much more modest: to present here a few key points, a few guiding markers of what could be, rather, a pedagogical manifesto—a cluster of ideas that I consider important and that could form at least the foundational layer of the core of a pedagogical anthropology, a gnosis of our discipline.
