Letters to the Pre-Sejm Dietines in the Lublin Province from 1671–1673

Summary/Abstract: The edition contains ten letters sent in 1671–1673 by different persons to the pre-Sejm (Parliament) dietines (sejmiks) of the Lublin Province (voivodeship). Copies of this correspondence were included in the silva rerum of one of Lublin officials, which contains various historical materials from 1669–1675. The first five letters relate to the pre-Sejm dietine in Lublin, which sat on 15 December 1671. Two letters were sent to the next assembly of Lublin nobles, who gathered before the extraordinary Sejm of 1672. The last three letters were addressed to the dietine which began in Lublin on 29 December 1673 and preceded the Convocation Sejm after the death of King Michał Korybut Wiśniowiecki.
