Summary/Abstract: This paper presents a smart home management system with a special focus on security. Smart homes are becoming increasingly popular, incorporating features such as artificial intelligence control and automation, but face unique security challenges. The authors evaluate the different communication standards - ZigBee, Z-Wave and KNX - analyzing each of them according to their security advantages and disadvantages. The aim of the study is to shed light on these differences, explaining the potential threats and providing practical recommendations on how to protect the smart home from cyber threats.
