Summary/Abstract: Like all other segments of the overall life of humanity during the global COVID-19 pandemic, the opera event May Opera Evenings was faced with numerous challenges. Due to the specifics of its nature (above all, the mass involvement of participants, as well as the live and indoor performance), its holding, according to the recommendations of the World Health Organization for protection against the spread of the pandemic, posed a danger. In such conditions, adapting to the circumstances, and in order to maintain continuity, the organizer (the National Opera and Ballet) set up two "pandemic" editions, the organizational and programmatic aspects of which will be the subject of this paper. Within the framework of this research, a review will be made of the organization of the editions, the forms and platforms of presentation, as well as the application of the newly introduced rules and protocols. In addition, a review will be made of the content, through which the adaptation to the newly created occasion will be presented from a programmatic aspect.
