Summary/Abstract: The text presents part of a study in which 63 women with an oncodiagnosis participated. They respond in free text to six questions, describing their subjective experiences related to learning the diagnosis, family relationships, life plans, and change in perception of life events. The interview overcomes the limitations of standardized tests and enables each woman to share from а first person their anxieties, problems and ways of coping with the disease Their experiences are summarized and analyzed with theoretical references to Elisabeth Kübler Ross, Viktor Frankl, Zornitsa Ganeva.
