Summary/Abstract: The sustainable mobility of public passenger transport from the point of view of road traffic safety in the new circumstances is one of the key challenges for citizens' satisfaction and the quality of service provision. This is especially evident on certain lines, that is, on routes where the traffic connection is weaker. The concept for sustainable mobility is reflected in service users and their travel requirements and needs. Mobility in passenger transport, especially in public transport, necessarily requires finding a balance between available resources and users, along with conditions of environmental acceptability. In order to find answers to the challenges of sustainable mobility in passenger transport, the provision of transport services with reference to the needs and satisfaction of passengers should primarily be investigated. In this paper, the quality of transportation services on a specific train route was investigated. Based on the research results, the current situation was discussed and measures were proposed to improve mobility from the point of view of road traffic safety.
