Summary/Abstract: The article analyses in detail the decisions of the Czech courts in connection with the application of the exception for parody, caricature (and pastiche) under Sec. 38g of the Copyright Act in the case of ČEZ a. s. v. Greenpeace ČR, z. s. Recent decisions of the Supreme Court and of the Constitutional Court are of fundamental importance for the treatment of parody (and other forms of humour) in Czech copyright law. The article also compares other European countries.
