Summary/Abstract: The publication Serbowie (Serbs), published in 1922 in Poznań, is the work of the Polish anthropologist and medical historian Adam Wrósek. During World War I, he conducted anthropological-anthropometric studies of Serbian prisoners of war and internees in Kraków, using the conditions of the military hospital he managed. His measurements fit into the broader scientific trend of the time, but there is no evidence that they had racist or discriminatory intentions. Wrósek recorded data on the age structure, occupations, and origins of the subjects, providing valuable historical insight into the Serbian population of the time.
