Summary/Abstract: Since its inception, the Faculty of Law at the University of Bucharest enrolled the largest number of students compared to the rest of the faculties in the mentioned period and benefited from the most consistent teaching staff. The constant increase in the number of students represented evidence of the increasingly pronounced interest in legal studies, a fact that justified the expansion of the educational offer in order to train the most competent specialists. This material focuses on the particularities of the students, but tangentially also takes into account the changes recorded in terms of educational offer, material endowments or involvement in political life. As expected, the quality of being a student, even at the most attractive faculty, was accompanied by challenges that resulted both from the high standards set by the professors, but also from the way in which aspects such as political-military events or economic evolution interfered with the dynamics of the institution and the instructional process itself.
