Summary/Abstract: A little-known self-taught researcher left some historical manuscripts to the Suceava Library. Among them is a history of the Porumbescu family, a manuscript presented to the public by professor Ion Filipciuc in a version that is under print. Along with the star manuscript, we point out some others, which record aspects of the historical past of Suceava.
