Summary/Abstract: The article highlights the creative profile of the writer Valeriu Anania, in analogy with Eminescu’s destiny. Even in his formative years, young Anania proved a born poet, mentally assuming the maximum sacrifices resulting from this. In need of supreme models, he related to the sacrifice of Christ, but, by profane analogy he also related to the „condition of earthly existence” of the national poet Mihai Eminescu, understood as a sacrifice for artistic creation. The article highlights the writer Valeriu Anania’s studies, exegesis or creations inspired by Eminescu’s work, especially the poem Imn Eminescului.
