Summary/Abstract: The publication gives more detailed view on Slovak-Bulgarian contacts and their significance in the context of the international relations at the time of Second World War. Based on archive documents and previous studies on that theme the mutual relations between the two states in the stated period are followed in details. The author concludes that it is very difficult to assess the Slovak-Bulgarian relations at the time of the Second World War. Both states at that time are in the sphere of German influence which leads to the creation of closer contacts. At the same time both states have their often opposite own interests. The conclusion is made that in time of war the relations can not be developed with the same intensity as in time of peace.
