Summary/Abstract: Eugenia Mureşanu; the magazine “Viaţa ilustrată”; priest Florea Mureşanu; Metro- politan Nicolae Colan; poetryThe article sheds light on a personality of Romanian culture, herself a victim of the communist regime, as valuable and talented as she was controversial and marginalized. We are talking about the writer Eugenia Mureşanu Adam. Little is said about Eugenia Mureşanu the writer, the cultural figure, the Christian intellectual with an impact on society, aspects that will be addressed in this article. It is a tribute to a political prisoner, a former wife of a priest, a writer who collaborated significantly and consistently with Viaţa ilustrată, one of the most prestigious magazines in the interwar period and during the occupation of Northern Transylvania.
